The Garmin Vivoactive 3 is a good budget smartwatch with a display that is made out of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and a stainless steel case. It's extremely flexible as it can be used as an everyday watch, but it's also great for sports lovers because it comes with notifications from the Garmin Connect Mobile app including texts, calls, email, social media alerts (Facebook, Twitter), messages, alerts and more. WHAT CUSTOMERS THINK:

“Enjoying it so far! I like tracking my steps and my heart rate and being able to record exercise such as walks. Looking forward to using this when I play badminton too.”

“Original review: I have had this watch for 6 months and I wear it daily. I absolutely LOVE this watch. I researched for months before purchasing one and I’m so glad I got this one. I previously had a Garmin Forerunner and while it did the job I didn’t love it. Before that I went through FitBit watches left and right. They definitely are not built to last. My only regret with the VivoActive is that I didn’t buy a watch base in white, I purchased black.”

CONS

❌ GPS may be a bit off but minimal

WHAT CUSTOMERS THINK:

“I returned the previous version of the fossil watch because every time I bent my wrist I would hit the button and turn on the Google assistant. This time they put bumpers on either side of the button, so that is a thing of the past. I have worn this watch everyday and am loving it. The only complaint is that the battery only lasts a day. I wish I could get like three or four days out of it. But, i'm sure as tech improves, this will too.

Worth it.”

Purchased for a 2020 Cmas present. Will update if things don’t go as planned. Super glad Fossil caught up with the Apple & Samsung watches though”.

The Fitbit is an amazing fitness device. I have used the Garmin and the Samsung and went back to the Fitbit. Just buy the breathable replacement band!”

✅ Contactless payments with Google Pay

✅ Fitness tracking

✅ Stay connected with your compatible smartphone

❌ Band may be too big for some users

❌ Battery life can go fast if used heavily

WHAT CUSTOMERS THINK:

“I honestly don’t ever due these reviews for a product but I was very skeptic with this watch I’ve owned multiple apple watches and love them don’t get me wrong but I work in the ac trade and was always worried on breaking the watch or scratching it. So I did some research to find a competitor that could match or exceed the apple products and what I found was a dinosaur that was not extinct and still wondering around waiting to be discovered this watch has simply blown me away from the easy to use interface to the rigid design holds charge better then any Apple Watch I’ve ever owned and just as quick one down fall I’ll be honest is no speaker or ability to exchange texts so that’s a bummer but other then that I’ve took showers with it and got it soaked rinsing coils on air conditioning systems and no issues the gps is amazing simply if you want a watch that’s budget friendly and something that even if it breaks won’t break the bank to replace it hands down best out there for value”

“Very nice watch. The band has a little flex and is very comfortable. The watch seems very sturdy. Screen doesn’t smudge and seems very robust. Very attractive watch. Screen faces are very clear and look nice. Wish there were a few more options. The watch connection to bluetooth on the iphone can be a little glitchy and slow at times. BUT I have had the same problem with fitbits and Garmins. The watch corrects itself quicker than Garmin or fitbit though. The hardware seems top-notch. The software needs a little improving. That’s why it is a 4-star review. They have some kinks to work out but only very minor. And the sleep tracking seems to be the only thing that sometimes is not accurate. For instance it has a hard time calculating REM. I wear a whoop strap as well and the sleep data needs cleaned up on the t-rex. But the GPS and heart rate data are pretty spot on when compared to Whoop and Garmin. I am very particular and I would say I am very happy with this purchase. 1/3 the price of similar smart watches with equivalent performance and probably better hardware.”

PROS

✅ Price

✅ Casual look

✅ Comfortable band

✅ Built tough

✅ Long battery life

CONS

❌ No speaker or microphone, so no answering calls or alerts

❌ Not as functional as more expensive smart watches

WHAT CUSTOMERS THINK:

“ Love my watch and it does seem a little behind on calories burned but you just have to turn on the work out tracker when you're working out and also set up your correct body measurements. Then it's usually spot on. I've had the Apple watch too and it's the same issue. The stairs that you've climbed never seem to be accurate but do I really care about that? No. The steps are spot on as well. I visually watch it count my steps on the Samsung health app. What is awesome is now the new bezel feature... Which allows you to quickly access other apps and change the volume with music. The music is awesome too because I connected it to my Spotify account and it will play your Spotify music on the watch when you're away from you phone. The only downside is bixby... Samsung has really gotta work out the kinks on that one... Terrible voice recognition. However, overall I love it! Lots of improvements compared to the last one ? P.S. I've boycotted all apple products and couldn't be happier.”

“I have the 44mm BT version. This is my first smart watch and so far I like it a lot. It's very comfortable on my wrist. I tried out the sleep function and it was comfortable to sleep with. It interesting to see how much actual R.E.M. I'm really getting.

There were a couple of small updates out the box that were available to address the GPS accuracy and a newer version of Tizen. I tested the GPS with another phone and a 3 mile run was just as accurate as the phone.

For some reason the weather app on the watch couldn't find my location. After some digging on the internet, I've found that the GPS needs to be turned on the watch. It was off by default on my watch. Once you've turned GPS on, go to the Samsung Wearables app on THE PHONE and go to the weather function app and select your city. Then refresh your Samsung Watch Tizen weather app and it will pick up your weather location.”

PROS

✅ Bixby assistant

✅ Sleep tracking

✅ Fitness tracking

✅ Samsung Pay

CONS

❌ Fitness tracking can be off at times

❌ Not ideal for swimming activities

WHAT WE THINK:

The Apple Watch Series 6 GPS + Cellular with built-in cellular is a fitness-focused fitness tracker that uses built-in GPS and cellular data to keep track of your activity and notify you when the battery is low. It has a built-in Barometer, which lets you track your elevation gain/loss, and it also measures time in different modes like countdown (1/1000 second), stopwatch, or 1/100th of a second. In addition, it has a built-in accelerometer so you can monitor your movement and follow part of your run or workout with this watch.

WHAT CUSTOMERS THINK:

“So far the watch is everything I’d hoped it would be! I’ve never owned a smart watch before. Because I viewed them as geeky, or just not a classic automatic watch. I was walking on the roof last week at work, I got a call, pulled the phone out, and proceeded to drop it and it slid onto a paver. Oddly enough the phone is ok. So this watch enables me to leave my phone in my pocket. Well worth the money!

I also never liked that they turn off and they were way to small for my liking. The bigger face is nice yet not to big! I like the color, not a big fan of the red band so I ordered another one.

If you have never had or wanted an Apple Watch they are much better then the 1st one. I’m sure I’ll like it more as I truly get to understand all of the features.

I got the 6 instead of the se because of the health apps as well as it being more future proof inside.

Thank you for reading sorry for rambling on.”

“I am in love with it! This is my first Apple Watch and I am not disappointed at all! This Navy blue goes with every color band. Just so in love!”

PROS

✅ Fitness tracking

✅ Sleep tracking
