On Stability:

This portable workbench was much more stable than I expected, actually. I really appreciate the large step platform, which provides a greater range of where I can place my feet when working with my hand plane. I think that's really important for healthy ergonomics. Some other work benches/platform solutions don't offer this, and I found it quite restrictive trying to work around a piece when your foot is forced into one position. That meant you had to frequently reposition your piece and clamp it down again to maintain the most comfortable working position. Having a large step area mitigates that issue quite well. Not entirely, but certainly better than similar competitors. It would have been nice to have step platforms on both sides. I would have paid an extra $20 for it. (Black and Decker, are you listening?) Doing so would increase the base further for an even more stable surface. Yes, it would be slightly longer when folded up, but the width would remain the same, and the increased height wouldn't affect the folded footprint.”

The installation process was basic and straightforward. You can do it yourself. Unlike many of my IKEA projects, you should be able to do this one correctly the first time. One advantage of the assembly is that all of the required tools are supplied in the package. You don't need to go around your garage for anything! We also enjoy the fact that the tools can be stored in a tiny box beside the bike in case you need to make any changes in the future.

There is no learning curve with this bike. You'll be able to operate this bike if you've ever attended a spin class at the gym. The EX-5 is fully adjustable, so you may fine-tune the seat and handlebars to your preferences.

We were astounded by how quiet the bike was. It was silent! No one will know you're working out if you wear headphones. This bike would be ideal for an apartment or other shared place when space and noise are limited.

Furthermore, we were blown away by the bike's high craftsmanship; it felt completely substantial. The bike did not shake, shift, or move noticeably, whether in or out of the saddle. The pedals were smooth, and the handlebars were the correct size and cushioned. They are also built to allow for several riding postures, ensuring that riders of all sizes find a comfortable position.

All of Echelon's bikes employ "connect" technology and are Bluetooth-enabled. In Echelon bikes without a built-in screen, your stats cannot be displayed; instead, you connect your phone or tablet using Bluetooth technology. “The bike is surprisingly sturdy and incredibly quiet, I made a mod to fit the iPhone underneath the iPad, and it works nice. Also, I made that little conversion table for classes online since they always show either bars or say "Adjust your resistance to 40%" or whatever, and you're wondering huh??, well that little table works excellent. It looks awesome, easy to set up, and overall, for $500 is the bike to get. I researched for what bike to get that will get as close to the Peloton bike, and let me tell you. This is the bike you want. Well, unless you're rich, then yea, get the Peloton, but ultimately, both do the exact same with just one difference. Obviously, you're not on the leaderboard of the app and have no remote control from the instructor on live classes (to me, that's fine). Definitely an awesome bike!”

WHAT WE THINK:

This watch is a far cry from the modest pedometers that we began with. The Versa 3 is well-equipped for general fitness, with a multitude of sensors for measuring health and regular exercise. Fitbit's operating system may not be as powerful as some of its rivals in the smartwatch industry. However, the device can still accomplish a lot, particularly with built-in support for Amazon's Alexa and Google Assistant.

Users who are very concerned about their health or are serious about sports may choose something with more thorough monitoring. However, outside of niche applications, the Versa 3 shines as a good all-arounder.

Fitbit Versa 3 is available in three color combinations: black/black aluminum, pink clay/soft gold aluminum, and midnight/soft gold aluminum.

The Fitbit Versa 3 has built-in GPS, SpO2 monitoring, Active Zone Minutes activity tracking, two smart assistant alternatives (Google Assistant is currently being pushed out), heart rate variability tracking, over 20 workout modes, and SmartTrack.

After all, the Fitbit Versa 3 is one of the greatest value-for-money Fitbits on the market, particularly if you're looking for a fitness watch rather than a fitness band. Unlike the Sense, a health smartwatch with more experimental features like ECG that aren't all that useful in everyday life, the Versa 3 is reasonably priced and has all the features you'd expect from a fitness watch, such as an optical heart rate sensor, built-in GPS, Active Zone Minutes, sleep tracking, and more.

“This is my first smartwatch, but I LOVE it so far.

I think the button placement is acceptable. The step-tracking seems accurate (slightly higher than my phone, which makes sense since I put that down sometimes), the sleep tracker is super interesting, very detailed, and has me reconsidering my daily routine already (day 3 of using it).

I love that it tracks my heart rate to get fitness feedback beyond how much I walk in a day, seeing how I don't ONLY walk and run for exercise but also do calisthenics and lift. It motivates me to get some "Zone Minutes" on the record. I was tired today but HAD to try that out, and it ended up being a great workout.

It also reminds me to move if I'm too sedentary at my desk job and has a smart alert that will wake me at the best point of my sleep cycle it can find that's within a half-hour of my desired wake-up time, which is huge for a groggy waker like me.

The meditation guidance is awesome, too. I want everyone I care about to have one so they can be motivated to incorporate more of all of these healthy habits! I'm VERY happy with my purchase!”
